CC Slaughters original Restaurant & Lounge was always the place to hangout, get great drinks and socialize since its creation at this location in 1998. Featuring a full bar and top line restaurant, The Lounge served it up in old fashioned Country Western decor with hip style and friendly staff. In 2005 CC Slaughters created the Rainbow Room, a unique and pub like bar for those who wanted to socialize and play pool & darts rather than get a groove on over at the main club side. While it was truly pub like in its design, it just didn't fit the new name Rainbow Room Lounge. So just days before New Years Eve 2006, the pub was removed and transformed into a posh little club lounge with glows of red and amber lighting to ring in the new year. But... the new lounge was lacking three main essentials a real lounge needed. Windows, more space and an exlusive entrance. In June 2007, the owners of the building at our current location informed CC's that the building would be going through a major over-haul that included earthquake proofing and a retro refit to the outside, restoring the original grandeur of the building and its historic fashion & design. With this in mind, the owners thought what better time than now to give the old lounge an all new look and increase its size. So the owners John Houston & Bruce Rice brought pen to paper and enlisted the help of fellow employee & graduate of the Art Institute of Portland, Steven Fausnaugh to create what has been hailed as beautiful. With an all new redesigned and relocated main bar and lounge seating, top to bottom windows, new sound system, 2 LCD big screen TV's and a redesigned layout for that perfect flow to find your friends! Top Quality cocktails and exclusive martini's, delicious food menu, will keep you happy all day, or into the night!
